Why Journalism & Communication at Lehigh?

The Department of Journalism and Communication at Lehigh University offers vibrant hands-on learning opportunities to help build the reporting skills students need to tell stories that have an impact. Guided by expert faculty, students develop a solid foundation in reporting, editing, storytelling, and law and ethics in our modern age.

A background in journalism, with its emphasis on research and writing, is excellent preparation for careers in traditional journalism organizations, digital media outlets, marketing communications and public relations, and even fields outside profession, such as law, government service, teaching, and business management.
