Each year, The Brown and White competes in three different student media contests. We've assembled a final roundup of all 2025 student media award recipients, which includes two national first-place winners. Congratulations to all!

College Media Association Pinnacle Awards

This is a national award with four divisions based on school size. We compete in Division II, which includes all schools with undergraduate enrollments between 3,000-9,999 students.

Society of Professional Journalists Mark of Excellence Awards

This contest has two stages. It begins with a regional contest, which for us includes New England and mid-Atlantic schools. Regional winners progress to a national competition. There are two divisions based on school size. We compete in the “small school division,” which includes all schools with undergraduate enrollments of fewer than 10,000 students.
